Lean Six Sigma Black Belt – Bridging from Green to Black Belt
You’re Almost There!
You did the hard work necessary to achieve your Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Our Black Belt Bridge Course will build upon what you have already learned, giving you the advanced training to become a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Bring your DMAIC skills to the next level and become a Variation Slayer Black Belt with Statistical Backing! Even if you completed your Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training elsewhere, you can still join us! We can review any Green Belt Projects and certifications done outside of HKPO.
HKPO Black Belts are high performers within their organization. They look to THRIVE, with a passion for learning and solving problems. We teach the Statistical side in this course, giving you valuable tools and techniques for making a data driven decision, allowing the data to drive your Process Improvement Projects.
Why attend?
As an HKPO Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, you will be able to successfully apply process improvement to your organization regardless of industry. HKPO Black Belts are experts in identifying problems, analyzing data, and creating solutions to lower costs while improving quality. They drive out variation using DMAIC Methodology: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control.
For Black Belt certification, we require one Black Belt project and one Kaizen to be completed, so the return on this training can be seen and results realized. Many HKPO Black Belts see a 10-fold return in savings!

How it works
Our virtual certification program provides a mix of learning experiences. Before the first virtual class, we’ll give you access to online learning modules you can complete at your own pace. This self-guided instruction will provide the foundation for the classes that follow.
HKPO Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Jennifer Ralston, will then provide five progressive classroom sessions, where you and your fellow students will learn the fundamentals of process improvements: the methods, the tools, and the metrics involved.
HKPO certification requires you to complete a kaizen and a project of your choosing. This provides valuable hands-on experience in applying the Six Sigma process and methods you will learn during the classroom instruction. Our Six Sigma Black Belts will also provide personal mentoring along the way, with three Group Mentoring sessions to be scheduled during the weeks of classroom instruction.
The final step is the Certification Exam, where you will demonstrate what you’ve learned and celebrate your achievement. After successfully passing the exam, you’ll be an HKPO-Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt!
